Designed by renowned automotive designer Etienne Salomé, the K9S extraSun completes the K-Series lineup while introducing advanced innovations that elevate both tanning results and user experience.

At the core of the K9S extraSun is SunSphere Pro, a revolutionary facial and décolleté system that replaces traditional T5 lamps with cutting-edge UVB-LED technology. This breakthrough delivers precise, controlled UVB exposure for enhanced melanin stimulation, resulting in deeper, longer-lasting tans with a natural appearance. The addition of blueSunlight and advanced LED configurations further enhances pigmentation while supporting skin vitality.

The K9S extraSun is specifically engineered to deliver additional UVB light, utilizing a powerful combination of extraSunlight and pureSunlight lamps. This optimized UVA and UVB spectrum promotes both pigment production and pigment bronzing, making the K9S extraSun an ideal solution for experienced tanners seeking stronger results. CPI Smart Ballasts further enhance performance by reducing energy consumption, extending lamp life, and allowing precise UVA/UVB output control through the intuitive preSelection touchscreen.

Advanced skin care is seamlessly integrated through BeautyBooster Pro, featuring over 2,000 red light beauty LEDs evenly distributed throughout the body area. These LEDs stimulate oxygen supply within the skin, improving complexion and delivering a noticeably smoother, softer skin feel during and after tanning sessions. SunSphere Shoulders complement the system with high-performance UVA and red light LEDs designed to enhance pigmentation and skin care in the upper body.

In the facial area of the K9S, the activating effect of blueSunlight is also introduced. SunSphere Pro in the vitaSun configuration replaces half of the red Nano Beauty LEDs with Blue Nano LEDs. In addition, the new UVB-LEDs have a blue tone. The result is an excellent natural looking tan.

sunSphere shoulders

High-performance LEDs and hemispherical glass lenses with a special combination that guarantees a beautiful complexion. Each cassette consists of 6 blue individual UVA and 1 red individual Beauty LED. Blue UVA LEDs guarantee optimally delivered direct pigmentation. Red Beauty LEDs provide skin care and stimulates the oxygen supply in the skin at the same time.

BeautyBooster Red Light PRO

When it comes to skin care, KBL’s K series sets new standards: Evenly distributed over the entire body, over 2,000 red light beauty LEDs care for the face and décolleté even while tanning, stimulating the oxygen supply in the skin with their special wavelength range. For the first time, air is distributed uniformly throughout the entire tanning tunnel via two completely non-stop air outlets. A draught-free foot fan rounds off the system.

AirBreeze Feet

The individually adjustable intensity of ventilation for AirBreeze technology has separately regulated foot ventilation in the K9S. A pleasant cooling that envelops the body through the entire tanning tunnel.

AUDIO SYSTEM

Bluetooth

Listen to your favorite music on your smartphone during your session via the equipment sound system. Connection will appear on your smartphone showing the room # you are tanning in.

3D Soundbar

The newly developed 3D Soundbar of the K models brings spatial sound with crystal clear highs, powerful mids and rich basses into the tanning tunnel, optimally controlled by a digital sound processor. Tanning bed users can choose between music or, for the first time, relaxation sounds. Via Bluetooth, users can also play their own music libraries.

7″ SmartControl

Touch displays with a new user interface make tanning in the K series even easier. Indoors, all relevant parameters can be set intuitively and quickly on a 7” display during tanning.

10″ SmartControl

In the outdoor area, desired settings can be made on a 10” display even before tanning. Tanning salon operators also have access to a completely redesigned service menu via the external display.

Studio operators also have the option of setting the user interface to Night Mode in elegant grey nuances, or choosing the fresh colour version.

VoiceAssist

Is easy to read, self-explanatory and complemented by the megaVoice guidance system. All KBL beds have this unique Easy Control Display screen. Joyful start/home & screen animations will appear on the Easy Control Display screen regardless of which KBL tanning unit they choose.

Infinity Mirror

Design: The eye-catcher of the K series in the premium version is the ‘Infinity Mirror’ design option, which sets the scene for the tanning bed with breathtaking spatial lighting effects.
